The Regina Centre Progress Club's annual Charity Auction is a major yearly event in the lives of club members and special guests.

The Charity Auction began over seventeen years ago and has become a 'can't miss' function for members and patrons. The auction has an elegant setting at the Delta Hotel and the room is chockfull of useful and fantastic items donated by local businesses. A silent and a live auction are held. Items auctioned off have included vacation packages, sports and recreation equipment and original art work. Silent auction items have included heaters, dance lessons, radio advertising packages, tools; pamper yourself packages and hundreds of others.

The Regina Centre Progress Club has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for its charity of choice, Camp Circle of Friends, a summer camp for kids with cancer.

Champagne is served to patrons as they mingle among hundreds of auction items beautifully arranged by display merchandiser, Glenda Mabbott.

Media personality, Bill Wright of Global Television, was the Master of Ceremonies for the 2005 show. Bill provided lots of humour as he kept the program moving for the patrons.

The evening begins with a champagne reception, corsage or gift for female guests, wine on your table, a gourmet meal, wonderful guests to visit with, raffles and plenty of items to view and bid on!

Some items that were available for bidding in 2005, included Centennial Saskatchewan framed print and book by David Bouchard, golf lessons, Casino Regina show passes, wakeboard package, remote car starter with installation, office furniture, lots of gift certificates, granite engraved picture, restaurant dinners for a group, two nights accommodation in Fairmont BC, radio advertising, travel voucher, and an automotive car care package.
